In the case of Caleta Gardens it is long,  long overdue. It will be interesting to see how the few private apartments in the complex are managed. I thought Puerto Caleta was under the same ownership? Anyway good to see investment in the centre.

I read on one of the Caleta social media platforms that the long anticipated and much needed improvements to Caleta Gardens is to start at the end of the month 🤞

@jaliyah I really hope so. There has been so many promises and false dawns over the years. Caleta Gardens in particular has started to become a real eyesore right in the centre of the town. I cannot believe it accepts “guests”. It stopped being fit for purpose 10 years ago. Imagine the airport coach dropping you off there 🫣

I know it has residents and instead of a receptionist it appears to have a security guard. The owners must have lost millions over the years especially the lost commercial rents.

One of the apartments is up for sale with Goldacres at 115,000. Internal video suggests repair works to the communal areas is in progress but no workmen in sight. It really needs a complete overhaul with a significant workforce rather than the periodic tinkering they have delivered so far.
