Gardening duties, sowed curly kale, garlic, cauliflower tomatoes and parsley. Did a big weeding job on the raised bed for the cauliflowers

Was hoping for a couple of hours in the garden this morning but heavy rain currently in Nottingham.

Off to watch the reds v man City later, let's see what mistakes the ref and VAR make this week🙄

If it stops raining and gets a bit warmer, I'm hoping to walk up to Skegness sea front later.

I never got up to the seafront because of the rain. and yes, Red, it was bracing with the cold wind. I've had a walk along the road to Gibraltar Point this evening.

Had my son and his family overnight last night, we were babysitting the girls 6yrs & 8 months. Made breakfast this morning, then this afternoon went over to friends for evening meal Chinese takeout. Home now it’s lashing rain and it’s 8’C so we have the heating on.

It's sunny - going up to Skegness sea front and shopping this morning. Classes this afternoon/evening. The Foxes play away at Preston tonight so will watch on Sky.

Started tiling a large kitchen floor earlier then an hour in the garden planting out cabbage, cauliflower, kale and sprouts. Hopefully we've now seen the last of the frosts

I wouldn’t bank on it these days but the brassicas should be able to cope

A lovely warm sunny day so spent a couple of hours in the garden after work weeding, planting leeks and cabbages and tidying the herb garden

Walking into Skegness this morning to do some shopping. A day off for me as it's the May Day bank holiday in Spain.
