IBI for Antigua Municipality (like council tax)

Mine came out first thing this morning by Direct Debit.  It was the same amount as May 2018 and May 2019.  I did not do anything...just came out as if nothing had changed but a bit delayed.

What is the charging period? We moved house last year, so have only been in Triqui since September.

My came out this morning. It normally comes out in April but council delayed due to Covid-19. Was surprised to see the message as they had announced it would be September!

Hey ho its its sorted for another year

Mine came out today. I was surprised when they said they were delaying it until September due to the lockdown, yet took it today.

Tricky fox - I'm never sure whether it's paid in advance or in arrears.

My IBI was debited today from the bank. The amount was 233.16€ - down from the 262€ of previous years.

Yours should be less Perry because of the reduction agreed by the Ayuntamiento as a gesture to residents because of the affects of the pandemic.

Mine has come out this morning, two entries a debit for 514.54 and a credit for 41.86 so net is 472.68 which is 8.14% lower.  I didn't see the credit at first...

@perrypower1 That is exactly the % ours reduced by, is anyone besides me wondering, how all these reductions are possible given the current crisis no tourists little or no income massive payments being made to the temporarily unemployed renewal projects going on all around the Ayumento etc etc, if I were a cynic, I would be asking what was happening to the cash in the glory days?? Rolleyes Rolleyes Rolleyes Rolleyes Rolleyes
