Ok, they have now just about finished the job, firstly let me say I travel up and down that road 3/4 times a week, and there has not been a hold up there to my knowledge for over a month, what changed I have no idea but something did. the system now much to my surprise is workable traveling north there is a 30/40 metre extra lane which allows you to turn right without stopping and filters you into the right-hand lane going up past Ikea and the China shops. While traveling south there is another lane that takes you across the roundabout and then you filter back into the mainline some 30/40 metres after the roundabout, while if you want to turn left onto the estate, you have to give away to traffic going North, and then enter a lane that takes you onto the left-hand lane going up the estate, despite my great misgivings it appears to be OK.

@johnrgby will say John , seen no holdup’s myself , and new road layout on the roundabout seems to be  keeping the traffic flowing ok.
