Markets in Caleta de Fuste
A market is held on Tuesday and Saturday mornings in Caleta de Fuste.
It is located on the Recinto Ferial, which is the large tarmac area next to the main FV-2 road just under the pedestrian underpass. The stalls are there from 8.30am until 2pm.
The market sells a lot of souvenirs and goods, such as jewellery, clothes, leather goods, accessories, and traditional goods with local and African origins.
The market does not sell food on the stalls, although there is a mobile unit that sells refreshments.
For those visiting in a car, there is a free car park area next to the market, with an entrance opposite the Fuertesol Apartments Reception. There is also a taxi stop next to the site and is also where the land train stops.
On Friday evenings there is a handicraft market selling locally produced goods at the Plaza, opposite the Barcelo Hotel, from 5 – 9.30 from June to September.
