A meeting was held last week between the residents association (Plataforma Vecinal de Caleta de Fuste and the ayuntamiento.
The plan is for the Ayuntamiento to officially take over the land in upper Caleta (called the 3rd Phase) which is currently, legally, with the builders who built the various complexes up the mountain.
When the Ayuntamiento has control it will be able to improve the infrastructure - paths, lighting, road signage etc. after 20 years of neglect.
