Walking in Caleta de Fuste
There are a number of possible walks to do.
1. A coastal walk to the neighbouring resort of Costa de Antigua (Nuevo Horizonte) along a paved pathway to the north of the resort. Costa de Antigua is about 30 mins walk away.
2. A coastal walk to the south past the Eurostars Las Salinas Hotel, and along the promenade to the Sheraton Hotel, and then along to the Atlantico Shopping Centre – 20-30 minutes.
3. A walk up Montana Blanca, which is at a height of 168 metres. Go up the hill, past the Pizzart and Perro Loco Bar, and work your way up past the new housing developments. There are roads and pavements up to the top. 45 minutes to the top.
4. A walk from the Atlantico Shopping Centre to Las Salinas. Head south alongside the sea – it’s a rough track but flat and easy walking. The track takes you to the Salt Museum and then to the beach at Las Salinas. 30 minutes from the Atlantico Center to Las Salinas.
There is also a footpath/cyclepath along this route near the main road which has street lighting.
