This morning took my neice and nephew to a  forest open day training session at the city ground. Over 4,000 fans turned up to watch

Went for an eyetest at Specsavers this morning. A slight change in my eyesight and early signs of macular degeneration which I've got to keep an 'eye' on. Classes this afternoon/evening.

@can-the-man Do you have any friendly tips for spending 3 days in Cork? Looking for recommendations on places to visit, good spots for meals, and some evening entertainment, like traditional music and the local vibe.  Basically, something cool to fill up three days!  😉

@alex I am only home tonight very tired, but over the weekend I will send you some suggestions, when are you visiting ?, and is it Cork city or the countryside around Cork, will you have a car available to you or will you be busing and taxiing ?

@can-the-man  Thank you Can.  I see you had a busy week.  Is it a public holiday in Ireland today ? You could have some rest.  We will be visiting without a car →  so only the city. We expect to visit during the first quarter of 2025.

One class this morning. Visited Leicester's Guildhall Museum, ate in Burger King, bought a waterproof Winter coat in Trespass and had a look around the John Lewis store this afternoon.

A great day yesterday watching both the Reds and Panthers win followed by a curry🍛

Today, a dog walk then a couple of hours in the garden tidying up and planting some bulbs for spring
