Head office today. Then had to collect a parcel from a neighbor that the postman delivered to the wrong address despite having the correct eir code on it. Eir code = postal code in Ireland 😄

A 10 mile cruise from Fenny Compton to Napton on the Hill. It took 6 hours as there were 9 locks en route. The N wind was cold but it stayed dry from 10.30 onwards.

We are bringing a load of old paint cans to a special local council organised collection morning for recycling with no charge, then weekly shop and then some chores around the house.

We had our son and 2 granddaughters up for a visit and they stayed for dinner yesterday. They had a great time, the eldest nearly 7 years went with her dad on my quad and trailer over the bog getting splashed with muck and dirt of all sorts, the youngest only 1 and a few months had a great time pottering around playing with the dolls house we have for them and lots of furniture and figurines.
Worked from home today I had the chimney sweep in the afternoon so all systems go for the stove in the winter.

Had trouble getting home from work tonight. Lots of flooded roads.

Should have been playing walking football but the session was cancelled due to the pitch being flooded.
