Started today's cruise at Kidsgrove and travelled 11 miles to Trentham. It involved 7 locks and took 6 hours. It also involved going through the Harecastle Tunnel at Kidsgrove - its 1.6 miles long and took 45 minutes to go through.

That's a good day!

Cruised 6.25 miles from 9.30am-2pm - it involved 9 locks as we cruised from Trentham to Aston.

Rain this morning so we didn't cruise, but set off at 2.15 and we did 8.25 miles (including 3 locks) and moored up at 5.45 at Great Haywood.

We departed Barcelona to Marseille, then to Genoa, Napoli, Scilliy, Malta and back to Barcelona.
We did the open bus tour and aquarium in Genoa, and Pompei in Napoli. Pompei was fascinating but hard going it was very hot and the ground was so uneven you needed to pay attention to where you were walking.

sounds amazing. Pompei is somewhere I would love to visit. Watched many tv programmes about it.

Went to malta several times when I was a kid as my dad had a friend who owned a house there. Did go back a few years ago and was surprised how busy and built up it now is.
