Went away for the weekend in our camper van to a lovely location outside Dungarvan Co. Waterford called The Getaway, it’s on the side of the Comeragh mountains

Im sure your plumber is truthful but the last 2 plumbers I have stayed in for have both failed to turn up and frustratingly did not feel the need to tell me. When I called them to enquire as to their whereabouts they both gave me a family issue/emergency as the excuse. Even in Fuerteventura we stayed in all day for 2 builders who failed to turn up. If I did the same at work I would be disciplined. It just common courtesy to make a quick call to say sorry I can’t make it.

totally agree, some trades give the rest of us a bad name, usually plumbers. If I can't make a quote/ job for personal reasons I always phone/message. Its just common courtesy

Worked this morning to finish a job off.

Spent a few hours in the garden this afternoon setting beetroot, parsnips, beans and cabbages. Enjoyed the warm sunny weather.

A visit from a family we knew from Fuerteventura, and a walk along the canal.

I spent a few hours in the poly tunnel planting some potatoes to find a great surprise of very early new potatoes. These were ones I planted last autumn that the frost killed their foliage and they had already produced spuds. Some of these had sprouted and started to grow, so I kept the larger ones for eating and replanted the smaller.

Later we went to the Aviva for the Leinster v Leicester rugby match. Late KO at 8:00
