I Heard today the bar has been sold, I will have new neighbors when I get back over there.

If it has been sold Can it as not reopened, and I would have thought it would not want much work doing to reopen as it is a relatively new unit, I must admit I was surprised it had sold as the asking price was a little high IMHO, but you never know.
