The Gone Fishing - fishing supplies shop - under the Las Salinas Hotel, next to the Beach Cafe has closed down.
I'm not into fishing but it always seemed a pleasant,well stocked and patronised shop. In addition I don't think they had any real competition in Caleta. I hope this is not the beginning of a trend.
Thats a real shame if the shop has permanently closed, the shop has been there as long as I can remember, bought & hired equipment from there several times and arranged a couple of boat fishing trips through them. Aram the owner always has time for a chat/advice. when I was over in November he said they were looking to relocate due to the lease expiring, hope this the case?
