Just seen an advert for a bar for sale which appears to be Fun in the Sun. I thought this was one of the more popular places in Caleta.
It has been for sale for a couple of months, I just hope whomsoever takes it on keeps up the standards already set, it will be a hard act to follow.

Agreed. Always guaranteed good food and a pleasant welcome. Will be missed if not relocating.
Has changed now Spanish-owned, but when we were there on Sunday it was as good as ever.
@johnrgby owners were training a Spanish guy and what looked like his son at the end of March . Have any of the British staff stayed on John ?
Most of them it appeared to us, it was very much business as usual, but we don't go there very often as I simply do not eat a roast lunch, it is only when the boss fancies one we go there, but as I said little appeared to have changed.
We went in a couple of weeks ago and were served by a familiar waitress. We asked how the new management was and she told us there had been no changes.
@villan I am almost certain the new owner is Spanish, when we were there last, which was several months ago there was a Spaniard who gave the impression he was in charge, and from conversations around the town confirm that, but I stand to be corrected.
Thanks John.
We were pleased with the food and service, as always, so long may it continue.
There is an advert on Facebook stating this is for sale again, almost exactly a year from the last time, whether this is true or not I am unable to confirm.
It appears despite all the local gossip some months ago that it had been sold, the fact is it was not, the new advert shows it is still for sale at around 50% of the original asking price.
