I've read on a Facebook group that the Beach Cafe has closed down.

I have not seen that Stephen, but over the last 5/6 months it has been acquiring a bad reputation for Staff rudeness, no a place I have used more than on the odd occasion to be honest.

That’s a shame it’s a place we always used on our walks for a break, sangria and people watch.

According to a neighbour of mine, there are many regulars that go there, and have preferred seats, so you were likely to be Asked or  told tp move, not really a great atmosphere.

Always had good service at all the bars along that stretch. They also seemed busy when open. Like Can we used it when passing for a beer or two and look out to sea.

We walked past there a couple of days ago it now appears to be empty, so not reopening any time soon I would have thought.

Just wondering if the hotel is retaking ownership of those units. Several are now empty except for a small gift shop. The windows of the empty units have signage that advertises that they belong to the hotel group.
