Costa de Antigua






Free beach activities for children are organised by the local council (Ayuntamiento de Antigua) during August. In 2024 they are on Fridays at the main beach in Caleta from 11am – 2pm. There are different activities and workshops, followed by a foam party.

Every year in May, an Urban Mile is run in Caleta de Fuste. It is organised by the Ayuntamiento of Antigua and the Barcelo Hotel. The races start at 6pm, following an inscription from 3pm that day. A New Year’s Eve Party is held in the Plaza in Caleta de Fuste. A free event. There are food and drink stalls.
The Antigua/Caleta de Fuste is usually celebrated in February. The 2025 Carnival events will be in Antigua from 19-23 February and inCaleta de Fuste on 28 February/1st March.
