Costa de Antigua
Costa de Antigua (that was formerly called Nuevo Horizonte) is a built up area about 2 km north of Caleta de Fuste, which is reached by an access road from the main FV-2 road or along a seafront promenade to Caleta de Fuste, which has a single width tarmac road running alongside. It is only 5 km from the airport.
In the 1980’s the area started to be developed. It currently has 3 hotels and a range of apartment complexes (holiday and residential), private villas and vacant plots of land.

Globales Costa Tropical
La Piramide
The area is on the N0.3 bus route which links Caleta de Fuste to the airport and the capital of Puerto del Rosario. There are 2 bus stops with a bus service every 30 minutes in each direction. The taxi rank is outside the Costa Tropical Hotel, and it costs about 5€ to get to Caleta de Fuste.
The area stands at the top of high cliffs so there isn’t a beach here. The nearest beach is in Caleta de Fuste.
The facilities in Costa de Antigua include a couple of small supermarkets, a few bars, a restaurant, a laundry, a hair salon and a hire shop.
St. Patrick’s Day is a big celebration in Costa de Antigua, as is the local Fiesta of Santiago Apostile between the 22 – 25 July.
